This qualitative case study explores the strategic transformation of the University of Cagayan Valley (UCV) as it aligns its institutional vision with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through visionary leadership, curriculum reform, and community engagement, UCV has redefined its role in higher education, culminating in its debut in the 2025 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). Using document analysis, interviews, and focus group discussions, the study identifies four key themes: leadership as a catalyst, strategic SDG integration, institutional challenges, and stakeholder impact. Findings reveal that UCV’s proactive approach fosters academic excellence, social relevance, and sustainable development. The study contributes to the discourse on educational reform and offers a replicable model for institutions seeking global relevance and local impact.
