Best Practices and Challenges Business Owners Encountered in The Operation of Snack Houses

In recent times, there has been a surge in the popularity of the snack house industry, owing to the increasing number of individuals opting for swift and convenient culinary alternatives to satisfy hunger at the most possible time. The Mallig Municipality of Isabela has witnessed a rise in the popularity of snack houses as a feasible business venture owing to the increasing demand for reasonably priced and delectable refreshments. Nevertheless, the establishment and management of a prosperous refreshment bar enterprise entail certain challenges. The objective of this study is to examine the optimal methodologies and challenges faced by refreshment establishments operating in Mallig, Isabela. In order to conduct our investigation, we collected data from ten (10) refreshment bars situated in the Mallig area. A survey questionnaire has been formulated by the researcher, drawing upon prior research and pertinent literature, with the aim of ascertaining optimal approaches and challenges encountered by refreshment establishments. The examination of the gathered data has indicated that snack bars have effectively employed various strategies, such as those centered on the product and price. Furthermore, it has been verified that the refreshment bars encounter no challenges with regards to financial management, compliance with food safety and regulatory guidelines, and preservation of the caliber of their food items. The aforementioned results underscore the significance of devising strategies and schemes that can aid refreshment establishments in adjusting to changing trends, consumer inclinations, and the surrounding milieu.
