The present study examined the effect of artificial intelligence integration on academic performance in Fundamentals of Accountancy, Business and Management 1 in senior high school students. The research included public and private secondary schools under Schools Division Office of Batangas City with 14 senior high school teachers teaching specialized subjects of Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) strand and 236 ABM students, while 10 participants were selected for the qualitative part. The study utilized a researcher-made questionnaire and an open-ended interview. The data gathered was statistically treated using percentage, weighted mean, ANOVA, t-Test and Pearson-R correlation. The findings showed that the demographics of both teachers and students have an important influence on how AI is integrated into teaching and learning. AI integration enhances learning activities, pedagogical strategies, and assessments, making them more engaging, effective, and convenient. Continuous usage of AI technologies enhanced academic performance, especially among students in the ABM strand. Teachers had similar patterns in how they used AI to improve their teaching strategies, however students' impressions of AI feedback differed due to variances in perspective and gender. Overall, artificial intelligence remains to be an important asset in improved teaching and learning process and must be continuously integrated as well as promoted in the field of education. It was recommended to implement the developed policy framework and action plan to promote both innovation and integrity in the use of AI in FABM1.
