Abstract

Teacher productivity is shaped by a range of organizational and personal factors. Guided by this premise, the study examined the influence of administrative and leadership support, work environment and resources, professional development opportunities, workload and time demands, and motivation and job performance on teacher productivity, while considering the teachers’ demographic profiles and plantilla positions. A descriptive-correlational design was employed to analyze teachers’ perceptions across variables such as age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, and plantilla position. Data were gathered through standardized survey instruments and statistically tested for significant differences. Findings revealed that teachers consistently rated all productivity factors at a high level, regardless of demographic background. No significant differences were observed across age, sex, civil status, or educational attainment. However, lantilla position significantly influenced perceptions of the work environment and resources, with lower-ranking teachers (Teacher I) and higher-ranking teachers (Teacher II and above) reporting disparities in access to resources. Professional development opportunities, workload, and motivation were uniformly valued across all groups, underscoring their universal importance in sustaining productivity. Teacher productivity is broadly driven by organizational support, equitable resources, professional growth, manageable workload, and intrinsic motivation. While demographic factors do not alter perceptions, disparities in plantilla-based resource allocation highlight the need for equity-focused policies. Addressing these gaps will ensure inclusive and sustainable productivity across all employment categories.
